Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Nottingham Forest are “close” to completing a deal for Juventus’ Luiz. He reports that the “deal [is] imminent”; the Brazilian could play a big role in their second match of the season against Crystal Palace if he is available. The Reds are confident that they will get this transfer done.

Yesterday, it was revealed that personal terms had been agreed with the player, who wants a move back to England after a difficult year in Italy following his departure from Aston Villa.
