These are the confirmed lineups for Real Madrid vs PSG as they collide in the semi-final of the Club World Cup. With the winner now guaranteed to come up against Chelsea in the final, it will be interesting to see how that shapes out. A win for Luis Enrique would see two possession-dominant sides meet in the final. A win for Xabi Alonso could allow him to further test his team’s efficiency and ruthlessness.

Thibaut Courtois starts in goal behind a back line of Antonio Rudiger, Raul Asencio, and Fran Garcia. Arda Guler, Federico Valverde, Jude Belingham, and Aurelien Tchouameni come in to the midfield. Vini Jr, Gonzalo Garcia, and Kylian Mbappe start up front.
Notable Changes
Newer signings Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold miss out after featuring in every match of the tournament. The former is suspended but the latter missed the squad entirely. Mbappe makes his first start of the campaign after missing some time due to illness.
What will be interesting is the setup. It could be a 4-3-1-2 that was used in their last outing but it could also see Tchouameni move back with Rudger and Asencio in a back three with Garcia and one of Guler/Valverde as the wing-back on the opposite side. The issue there is it would have to be a two-man midfield to get Vini, Mbappe, and Garcia up front together.

Paris Saint-Germain Team News
Gianluigi Donnarumma starts in goal. Lucas Beraldo, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Achraf Hakimi are the back four. Vitinha partners Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz as the usual midfield trio. Up front is the dangeours attacking lineup of Desire Doue, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ousmane Dembele who is also making his first start of the tournament.
Notable Changes
Two expected changes here as the suspended Pacho is replaced by Beraldo, and Bradley Barcola is dropped for star man Dembele to make his first start of the Club World Cup.
