This is the Real Madrid confirmed lineup for their Club World Cup quarter-final tie. Los Blancos have been without some key players in the tournament so far but that has not stopped them from getting to this stage without a defeat. Xabi Alonso has recently implemented a back three and the squad are already reaping the rewards despite still adjusting to life under a new manager.

Real Madrid Team News
Thibaut Courtois starts in goal behind a back line of Antonio Rudiger, Dean Huijsen, Aurelien Tchouameni, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Fran Garcia. In the midfield, Federico Valverde starts along with Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham. Up front is Gonzalo Garcia and Vini Jr.
Notable Changes
There are no changes despte getting players back from injury. Shockingly Raul Asencio doesn’t come back in to the back line after his suspension elapsed which will see Tchouameni continue to play in a back three instead of a midfield three. There’s also no spot for Kylian Mbappe despite making his return from illness as a substitute against Juventus.
