Recent Chelsea Signing Dubbed ‘Most Talented Young Footballer’ by PL Star

Chelsea have been on a spree of picking up young talents since the sale of the club from Roman Abramovich. While names like Estevao, Kendry Paez, and Geovanny Quenda have stolen the headlines there is one under-the-radar move that has been praised by Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.

Chelsea Have Signed “Most Talented Young Footballer in the World”

Which Signing Earned This Distinction?

The interviewer questioned the Premier League man over who he believes is the “most talented young footballer in the world right now?”. This was initially answered with some vagueness by Semenyo but when prompted, he recalled that it was recent Blues signing Dastan Satpaev who he believes to be the most talented.

The young Kazakh striker is a signing that many might have ignored as he was announced on a pre-contract from his local league. He is also not even 18 years old yet, he will turn 18 in the summer of 2026 when he officially makes the move to London.

Is Dastan Satpaev That Good?

It is certainly a signing that could be brushed off but since the move went through, Satpaev has been catching the eye with some good performances for Kairat. Most impressive is the fact he is playing up against senior footballers in league matches at just 16 years of age.

This trust has been rewarded as the teenager has provided 12 goal contributions in 15 appearances in addition to grabbing three more in cup and UEFA Youth League contests. Even more impressive, the striker was called up to his national team earlier this year and has been capped three times already.

This wasn’t a rushed move either, Satpaev earned his spot among the big boys after dominating in youth level when he netted 27 times in 28 appearances for the Kairat U18 setup. One thing is for sure, this prolific scorer has a bright future and could be a national hero if his trajectory continues at this rate.
