‘I Don’t Want To Rule Anything Out’ Striker Hints At Summer Exit From Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Saša Kaladžić has hinted that his future at Molineux remains uncertain, with the possibility of a summer exit on the cards. The 27-year-old, who joined the club from Stuttgart in 2022, has struggled with injuries during his time in England and has recently spoken candidly about his situation, according to the Express & Star.

Saša Kaladžić Keeping His Options Open

In his recent interview, Kaladžić stated: “There are still a few conversations to be had before I know where the journey will take us in the summer. I don’t want to rule anything out. I can’t speak for Wolves either. The Premier League is one step above the Bundesliga in terms of speed and intensity. It may not be the best league to come back to after an injury.”

His words reflect a player who is weighing his options carefully after an injury-prone spell. Kaladžić has only made a handful of appearances for Wolves due to an ACL injury just 30 minutes into his debut and a loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, which was also cut short due to a second serious ACL injury during the second half of the 2023/24 season.

What This Means For Wolves

If Kaladžić does leave, Wolves will likely look to strengthen their Forward line, with Matheus Cunha and Fábio Silva likely to be departing. Jørgen Strand Larsen will be the club’s only recognised striker. Kaladžić’s departure could free up wages and create space for a more reliable player who fits Vítor Pereira’s system.

There is also a sense that the Austrian international hasn’t had a fair chance to prove himself due to his injury record. A return to the Bundesliga or another league with a less demanding pace might suit him better.

Wolves, meanwhile, will be focused on building a squad capable of pushing for the top half of the table, with or without Saša Kaladzic.
