Manchester City Team News

Ederson returns ingoal with Matheus Nunes, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, and Nico O’Reilly as the back four. Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Jeremy Doku, and Omar Marmoush make up the midfield and attack.

Notable Changes

After being out of the lineup Ederson makes his return and will undoubtedly add another dimension to the way his side play. The setup will be interesting on the attack as Doku and Marmoush could play the mobile front two ahead of a diamond as opposed to a 4-3-3 with a false nine of sorts that has been used recently.

Kovacic and Gundogan is a midfield designed to retain possession with no Nico Gonzalez to add a deeper shield for the defense, that could see a four-man diamond midfield operate to keep the ball using the technical skills of Silva, De Bruyne, and the aforementioned duo.
