This is a Chelsea predicted lineup for their Premier League clash with Everton on April 26. This is the early kick-off on Saturday, the first the Blues have been in for a while due to Europa Conference League obligations. This is a clash between two sides who find attacking difficult so we may just see a 0-0 draw in this one.
Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Everton for Premier League Tie
How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Rob Sanchez starts in goal in league matches with Filip Jorgensen taking over in Europe. The back line has been jumbled around as Malo Gusto, Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, Josh Acheampong, Benoit Badiashile, Malo Gusto, and Reece James have all been featured in defence.

James has also played in midfield where Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Enzo Fernandez, and Moises Caicedo also set out in the deeper positions. In the attack, Cole Palmer has played centrally while Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Tyrique George, Christopher Nkunku, and Noni Madueke battle it out for spots on the wing.
Nicolas Jackson is the main striker choice but he has been rotated out for both George and Nkunku in recent fixtures.
Chelsea Recent Form & Tactics
Enzo Maresca remains committed to his fluid 4-2-3-1 setup which has seen things shift from a 3-2-4-1 inverted fullback and box midfield to a 2-2-5-1 or a 2-2-6 diamond which overloads the middle and allows the Blues to get bodied in and around the box with Cucurella and Enzo both crashing regularly. The aim is still to dominate possession and recycle the ball but it has proven to be prone to counter attacks.

Things are mixed for the side right now. They have two wins, a loss, and two draws in their last five outings with a clean sheet only being kept in one of those. Goalscoring isn’t as much of an issue as it has been with eight netted in their last four fixtures.
Chelsea Injuries to Consider
In his pre-match conference, the manager confirmed three absentees, although only two have played for the senior squad. Marc Guiu, Aaron Anselmino, and Gusto are confirmed to be the only players injured, while Mykhailo Mudryk remains suspended. Presumably the coach forgot that Wesley Fofana is also sidelined, likely for the rest of the season.
