Newcastle United Eye ‘Ridiculous’ Talent with ‘Incredible Skillset’ Amid Isak Uncertainty - Benjamin Sesko

Newcastle United Predicted Lineup vs Brentford on April 2nd

Newcastle United’s predicted lineup vs Brentford could be as simple as the same again, given that they haven’t played since that magnificent triumph over Liverpool at Wembley. The Carabao Cup winners are now back to the grind of the Premier League, desperate for all three points to pursue their ambition of qualifying for the Champions League.

How Newcastle Have Lined Up Recently

As expected, Nick Pope was given the nod over Martin Dubravka for the cup final win over Liverpool at Wembley. Looking at some of the celebrations in Newcastle since then, you realise it’s been a long 70 years since the Magpies last won a domestic trophy.

Eddie Howe had a defensive problem for the final with Lewis Hall missing, but there was no need for any concern; his back four on cup final day at Wembley defended magnificently. Full backs Kieran Trippier and Tino Livramento were in top form, and the central defensive partnership of Fabian Schar and Dan Burn excelled on the big occasion.

Midfield Maestros Remain in Predicted Lineup

Any Newcastle United-predicted lineup would choose the current midfield trio, which is as skillful as any in the Premier League. They will happily compete with the best that Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have to offer. Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali all started the final and dominated large periods of the game.

A Special Goalscorer in Newcastle’s Predicted Lineup

Alexander Isak showed in the cup final against Liverpool at Wembley that he is the man for the big occasion. Scoring the decisive second goal put the game beyond Liverpool’s reach, and the Geordies can expect some strong interest from clubs with a lot of money to spend in the next transfer window. Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes played alongside Isak in the never-to-be-forgotten final and allowed him to flourish. Eddie Howe’s 4-3-3 system has served him very well this season.
