England Confirmed lineup - Thomas Tuchel leading England training

England Confirmed Lineup vs Albania for March 21

This is the England confirmed lineup for their World Cup Qualifying opening round clash with Albania. This marks not only the beginning of the road to the 2026 World Cup but also the arrival of a new manager as Thomas Tuchel takes the helm for the first time. England Team News

Jordan Pickford starts in goal with a defensive line of Kyle Walker, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Dan Burn,  and Ezri Konsa. Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, and Curtis Jones are the midfield with Phil Foden, Harry Kane, and Marcus Rashford picked up front in what appears to be a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1.

Notable Changes

Tuchel has been quick to stamp his mark on the new job, handing starts to interesting names like Burn, Lewis-Skelly, and Jones over some of the more senior members of the squad. It’s possible he’ll rotate heavily against Latvia and just wants to see how these players perform in his system before nailing down an eleven.
