This is the Chelsea confirmed lineup for their Premier League clash with Leicester as part of a doubleheader Premier League kick-off at lunchtime. In a rather unusual event, this match will start at the same time as Tottenham Hotspur versus Bournemouth with both fixtures possibly impacting the race for European football. This one also starts just a half hour before Chelsea Women take on Crystal Palace so it’s a bit of a mess for fans of both Blue’s squads.

Chelsea Team News
Rob Sanchez starts again in goal with a returning Wesley Fofana ahead of him. Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella are the remaining defenders. Enzo Fernandez partners Moises Caicedo in the middle of the park with an attacking four of Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Christopher Nkunku, and Pedro Neto.
Filip Jorgensen is on the bench alongside Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Josh Acheampong, Genesis Antwi, Mathias Amougou, Romeo Lavia, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Tyriqye George in a fairly youth-heavy bench.
Chelsea Lineup: Sanchez, Fofana, Tosin, Colwill, Cucurella, Enzo, Caicedo, Palmer, Nkunku, Neto, Sancho
Notable Changes
Jorgensen appears to have lost his place as the league keeper with Sanchez getting a second consecutive start. The defensive line sees Fofana make his return with no Malo Gusto or Reece James likely meaning he’s the starting right-back.
Tosin gets the nod to be the third man alongside Colwill instead of Chalobah or Badiashile. In the absence of the two recognised right backs youngster Antwi is on the bench to offer an emergency option.
