There were four changes to coach Vincent Kompany’s previous lineup. Stanisic, Guerreiro, Goretzka, and Gnabry began instead of Konrad Laimer, Hiroki Ito, Aleksandar Pavlovic, and Kingsley Coman.
Now, there are several big matches in a short period, so there is more rotation than before. The squad of healthy and available players is also bigger for the time being.
Bayern Munich Recent Form and Tactics
The Bavarians come off of two consecutive draws, both of which were enough to reach the set objective in either game, but the whole culture at the club is built on winning no matter what. Therefore, the very volatile atmosphere around the team is no longer the best.
Tactically, the side has generally gone with a 4-2-3-1 shape, even when Kane came out injured at halftime against Celtic they resorted to a false nine upfront and thus kept the same formation.
Bayern Munich Injuries to Consider
Apart from the lingering injury to backup goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, there is a possibility that Kompany will have a full squad to choose from for this match. However, neither Kimmich nor the above-mentioned Kane have trained in the days leading up to the final practice on Saturday.
