Celtic Predicted Lineup vs Dundee United
How Celtic Have Lined up Recently
Against Bayern Munich, it was the expected back four that Brendan Rodgers lined up with. Alistair Johnson impressed – particularly in the second half when he could get forward and create alongside substitute Yang. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty formed a partnership that was particularly tested in the first half. Greg Taylor completed the defence and unsurprisingly struggled to contain Michael Olise.

In midfield, Callum McGregor played the deepest of the three. At times his passing was square, which left Celtic struggling to get forward. Reo Hatate and Arne Engels played in front of the Scottish international.
Up front, Nicolas Kuhn, Adam Idah and Daizen Maeda started. Kuhn thought he had scored after just twenty seconds only for the offside flag to deny him.
Celtic Recent Form and Tactics
After a respectable 2-1 loss to Bayern midweek, one eye will already be on next week’s clash in Munich. However, a completely different style of game awaits them at the weekend.
Domestically, Celtic have adapted their defensive approach as of late. The nature of their counter-pressing has become even more intense. Often they hunt in packs of three or four players, suffocating their opponents.
