Manchester United Predicted Lineup vs Crystal Palace in Premier League Clash

How Manchester United Have Lined-up Recently

André Onana is the Red Devil’s number one goalkeeper, with Altay Bayindir stepping in for FA Cup and Europa League games.

At wing-back, Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot have been mainstays, supported by Tyrell Malacia and, on occasion, Amad Diallo at left and right wing-back respectively. At centre-back, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Matthijs de Ligt and Lény Yoro have fought for three places.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte have forged a decent partnership in midfield, supported in rotation by Captain Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, Toby Collyer and Casemiro. In attacking midfield, Fernandes has often played alongside Amad or Alejandro Garnacho, with Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund competing for the lone number 9 berth in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system.

Manchester United Recent Form and Tactics

Despite an overwhelming sense of dread and anxiety amongst the fanbase over a lack of attacking impetus, defensive porousness and the way the club is being run, United have won five of the last seven games in all competitions and, with the important caveat of the quality of opposition in that run, it would seem that the players are beginning to get used to the demands of the Portuguese coach’s new system.

With that being said, more is needed from all areas of the pitch if the Red Devils aspire to climb in the top 10 of the Premier League table, with a lack of attacking threat and defensive mistakes threatening to undermine the tentative progress being made.

Manchester United Injuries to Consider

Mason Mount and Jonny Evans remain out with long-term issues. Luke Shaw is back in training but not yet fit enough to start following a calf injury.
