Leicester City Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace

How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently

Last time out, the Foxes took on Championship side Queens Park Rangers with a relatively unchanged side.

Jakub Stolarczyk remained in between the sticks to continue his run of games. A centre-back partnership of Wout Faes and Conor Coady was selected due to an injury to Jannik Vestergaard, but the Belgian took his opportunity with a wonder goal late on. James Justin and Viktor Kristiansen then reprised their roles at full-back, with the Englishmen scoring a brace.

Harry Winks and Boubakary Soumaré started in the double pivot, but Winks was replaced after an hour for Oliver Skipp. Facundo Buonanotte then returned to the side of the right-wing, with Stephy Mavididi on the other side. Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss then rounded up the midfield through the centre as he earned two assists.

Leading the line was Jamie Vardy, who scored before being replaced by Patson Daka.

Leicester City’s Recent Form and Tactics

After five losses in a row, the Foxes found their first win of the year in a 6-2 thrashing of Queens Park Rangers. The victory sees them advance to the F.A Cup fourth round, where they will face Manchester United.

In terms of selection, the home side put out a very strong team despite their lower-league opposition. This ultimately resulted in a dominant score-line, but not without some issues.

Going into the break it was 3-2, with the visitors finding some success with more possession and the same amount of shots. However, this would all be forgotten about in the second half as Leicester dominated. Goals from Vardy, Justin and Faes rounded off a great second half, with some encouraging performances.

With the momentum gained last time out, Leicester will be looking for an upturn in performances. With the East-Midlands-based side currently in 19th, three points against Crystal Palace could be vital.

Leicester City Injuries to Consider

First-choice goalkeeper Hermansen is still sidelined with an expectation that he will be out for a bit longer. Other than that there are no new injuries to the Dutchman’s squad but the likes of Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira are still recovering.
