How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Rob Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen have shared the duties in goal. Injuries and a lack of European games has limited rotation elsewhere with Malo Gusto, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, and Josh Acheampong starting in defence.
Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have started almost every time out as the deeper midfielders. Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, and Noni Madueke have started in attacking midfield spots. Nicolas Jackson has been the starting striker with Cristopher Nkunku replacing him against Ipswich.

Maresca’s press conference indicated that Romeo Lavia and Reece James could feature while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is injured, Ben Chilwell is subject to outside interest as is Cesare Casadei. The manager has said that the latter two won’t feature so they can be fully ready to join another club.
