Sagoe Jr. has spent the past three seasons with Arsenal’s reserve side. This campaign, though, he was called up by Arteta and made his professional debut in an EFL Cup match against Brentford. Unable to gain consistent minutes, he heads abroad to convince the Spanish manager he is worthy of more time on the pitch.

How Sagoe Jr. Can Help Swansea

The Swans are in desperate need of a change in form. Sitting 17th in the Championship, not too far away from relegation, the Welsh outfit have conceded the third-most goals this campaign. Sagoe Jr.’s addition is aimed at helping overcome their backline woes by overpowering their opposition with aggressive attacking play.

The attacker’s time at Swansea will be short. He will return to his parent team this summer. If he highlights his skills in the Championship, he could be included in Arsenal’s senior squad for next season. The “wonderkid” has much to prove to live up to his potential.
