What Earned Udogie A New Contract

The Italian full-back actually joined Tottenham in 2022 but ended up spending the 2022/23 season on loan at Udinese. His work clearly impressed those in London, who decided to bring him back and give Postecoglou another option in the full-back position for his debut campaign.

Udogie has ended up making that left-back position his own in the 23/24 season, producing a number of impressive performances. He has three goal contributions (1 goal, 2 assists) in 14 Premier League appearances and scored his first-ever goal in the division during the win over Newcastle. Udogie’s performance against the Magpies was hailed as “outstanding” and it’s clear that the Lilywhites want to keep him at the club for many years to come, which is why a new deal seems to have been agreed upon.
