Romano has reported on the praise aimed at Palmer from his Chelsea boss. The Argentine was full of positivity when asked about the Englishman’s start at Stamford Bridge: “We are so happy with Cole Palmer, we trust him for the present and future.”

The Englishman joined the West London club on transfer deadline day for an initial £40m from Manchester City. While at the Etihad Stadium, Palmer was praised as “incredible” by teammate Kyle Walker. The praise from the English defender has been supported by his promising start at Stamford Bridge, where he has been the creative spark for a Chelsea team struggling to find consistency.

What Palmer Has Brought to Chelsea

Palmer has enjoyed a regular starting role at Chelsea and has impressed with his guile and ability to pick out a decisive pass in the final third. He has three goals and four assists in ten starts, in all competitions since his move to Chelsea, and it seems his importance at the club will only grow with Pochettino making it clear he is a big part of his plans.
