Have Chelsea Made Any Move for Osimhen Yet?

Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea are “absolutely” one of the clubs who want to be kept informed on Osimhen’s situation at Napoli. The journalist adds that there is no chance whatsoever for the striker to leave Napoli in the January transfer window, but that it could be a different story in 2024. He states that the Blues have been looking for a new top striker for a long time and was noncommital when he stated “let’s see” if they can capitalize on the Nigerian’s shaky situation and get a deal done for the striker, who dreams of playing in the Premier League. However, he reveals that the London giants have not started any negotiations to sign the Napoli man yet and are not even in the initial stages of doing so.

However, there is no agreement at all between the two parties over a possible contract extension so far. The journalist claims that only a “crazy bid” can convince Gli Azzurri to sell their prized striker in January. The 24-year-old forward, who has scored six goals in 10 appearances across all competions and was hailed for his “devastating” aerial prowess, is currently out of action due to an injury picked up during the October international break.
