According to Plettenberg, the United winger is now very likely to leave the club when the transfer window opens in January. The reports suggest that the Englishman will leave on loan instead of a permanent transfer. Sancho’s next destination is still not known, however, a move away from Old Trafford could possibly be the best solution for all parties involved.

The 23-year-old’s former club Borussia Dortmund could be one of the potential destinations for him. However, it is highly unlikely according to the English reporter. Dortmund manager, Edin Terzic appreciates the “exceptional” player and “is in regular contact” with him. According to the Sky reporter the England international wants to play regular football and his playing time will dictate his next destination.

Sancho’s Situation With Erik ten Hag

The Red Devils’ manager and Sancho had a falling out earlier last month when the manager justified his exclusion from the squad by questioning his training performance, which the player publicly denied on social media. The former Dortmund man has not featured for the Premier League club since the incident.
