What Did Richarlison Say About His Form?

Richarlison has admitted that he will be seeking professional help from a psychologist amid his struggles on the pitch for both the Lilywhites and the Brazil national team. “That’s it, come back stronger. It’s about getting a good streak at Tottenham, this week I’m going to sit down and talk. On the field I’m a happy team player, I try to help as much as possible. Sometimes, things don’t go the way we want. I think this part is a bit of the off-field side that ended up getting in my way. Even though you want to do things right, it ends up going wrong. I will continue to focus on the club, the storm has passed.

“I went through a turbulent time in the last five months off the field. Now things are right at home. People who only had an eye on my money walked away from me. Now things will start to flow, I’m sure I’ll get a good run at Tottenham and make things happen again,” he also added.

What Has Happened to Richarlison?

The 26-year-old has experienced a major drop in form since arriving at Tottenham from Everton last year, only scoring one goal in the Premier League for them in 31 appearances. He has just four goals in 40 appearances for the Lilywhites and has struggled to score in the free-flowing Spurs attack under Ange Postecoglou so far, missing some key chances in the early games.

With that being said, Richarlison has the backing of his club, who are well aware of how talented he is. The Brazilian forward, who scored 53 goals in 153 appearances for Everton after joining them from Watford, will look to rejuvenate himself and get back to his best after a tough start to the new season.
