Casemiro has missed games through suspension, so he cannot be relied upon for the entire season. Moving to a bigger side with better players will help Onana to bring his game to the next level, with a place in Belgium’s midfield up for grabs. He made 33 appearances in the previous campaign, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Those who have followed his progress in his first season have seen that he is more than ready to play at a higher level.
