Tottenham Hotspur Finalise Harry Kane Exit

Harry Kane Set for Bayern Munich Medical

Romano has given his ‘here we go’ to confirm that the England captain will be leaving North London to join up with the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich after the two clubs have struck an agreement for him to move for £103 million fee.

It’s added that the Englishman has now also given his green light to the deal and agreed on personal terms to make his move to Germany. Romano has also reported that Kane has landed in Munich to undergo his medical tests with the Bavarians and then sign his four-year contract.

This is a major blow for Ange Postecoglou on the eve of the start of the new Premier League season, and he’ll have to line up his side for their opening game against Brentford on Sunday (August 13) without their club captain.

What Is Next for Tottenham?

It will now seemingly be a priority for Daniel Levy to sign a suitable replacement for Kane once his exit is confirmed. The Lilywhites have been reported to be eyeing up Belgian giants Gent’s striker Gift Orban as a replacement for their captain – and are also reportedly looking to sign France star Randal Kolo Muani, but may face stiff competition for the Frenchman.

Irrespective of whatever happens, Levy needs to work hard and fast to secure the signing of a top goal-scorer to fill the boots of someone like Kane. While Richarlison can spearhead the attack, Postecoglou will be craving another clinical striker to add more goals to the team. Kane was hailed as “exceptional” by German legend Jurgen Klinsmann last season, and will leave Spurs as their all-time record goal-scorer, having scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for them.
