It’s stated that the 19-year-old is set to undergo his medical tests with the club on Thursday and will then be putting pen to paper on his deal. Romano claims that Chermiti is set to sign his official Everton contract in the afternoon after his medicals are successfully completed, after which an official announcement should come from the club.

The Merseyside club have worked hard to sign a new striker for Sean Dyche with the new league campaign just a few days away. Sean Dyche’s side are reported to be paying a fee of around £15 million for the Portuguese teenager, who caught their attention with his heroics for Sporting in the Liga Portugal. The 19-year-old had a pretty prolific campaign with his side in the 2022-23 season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in 16 league appearances.

He is a natural no.9 who likes to move around with the ball and loves dribbling past defenders. As per WhoScored, one of his biggest strengths is his aerial ability, which is key for a player to succeed under Dyche. Chermiti has been hailed as a “beast in the making” due to his daunting presence in the frontline and able to cause chaos in the opposition backline with his movement and finishing ability. Everton seem set to be getting a bright young talent whom they’ll hope brings a lot of goals for them in the foreseeable future.
