Manchester United Receive New Harry Maguire Bid

What Is United’s Stance on Maguire?

The Red Devils have only been able to sell a few players in the summer window so far, having sold the likes of Anthony Elanga, Alex Telles, and Zidane Iqbal. They also allowed David de Gea to leave after his contract expired and replaced him with Andre Onana.

Now, Romano claims that United have received a brand new £30 million offer for the services of Harry Maguire from West Ham United. It is added that more Premier League clubs remain in talks over a possible deal for the defender.

Moreover, it is also reported that despite negotiations over his sale, the Hammers are yet to contact the defender’s representatives and have not been able to agree on personal terms with him.

Maguire has had a difficult last 12 months at Old Trafford. He lost his starting role in the team after Lisandro Martinez joined from Ajax last year and was even stripped of the captaincy earlier this summer.

Despite being hailed “dominant” by the Dutch manager last season, the England international’s future with the Red Devils remains clouded in uncertainty, and it now appears that he might be on his way out before the transfer window ends.
