Wolfsburg, Van de Ven’s current club, are poised to receive a hefty sum for the 21-year-old’s services. The fee is expected to amount to approximately £43 million, inclusive of add-ons, highlighting the high regard in which the young centre-back is held.

Sky Sports have claimed Tottenham are expected to pay an initial £25.9 million and around £17.3 million in add-ons totalling around £43 million. Upon successfully passing the medical examinations, Tottenham will secure the services of Micky van de Ven for the long term.
