According to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder “has no doubts” about joining the Red Devils, having already “said yes” to the potential move.

This is backed up by fellow Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, whose reporting on United’s pursuits of Andre Onana and Hojlund have earned him a fantastic reputation this summer. Pedulla says that Amrabat has only one priority, and that is Manchester United.

Romano goes on to claim that the Red Devils are preparing to send their official bid for the “monster” as soon as they are able to offload one of two first-team players – either Fred or Donny van de Beek.

The midfield duo both seem to have been deemed surplus to requirements at the Theatre of Dreams this summer, with reported interest in Fred from a variety of countries including Turkey, while Van de Beek has recently seen Spanish side Real Sociedad open talks over a potential move for him.
