AC Milan’s Bid for Pulisic Revealed

The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) captain fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge last season and is not regarded as a key player by Mauricio Pochettino, which is why he’s now available to be sold in the summer.

Romano claims that the Rossoneri have improved their offer to launch a new £17 million to sign the winger after seeing their previous attempts thwarted. It’s also added that negotiations are now advancing between the two clubs over the possibility of reaching an agreement for the transfer.

Pulisic is also claimed to be personally keen on joining the Serie A heavyweights and is prioritising on that move. Romano also adds that the USMNT winger has been pushing for a move to Milan since last week and is ready to make a move to Italy after spending the last few seasons with the Blues.

Pulisic’s Career at Chelsea Recapped

The 24-year-old forward joined Chelsea in 2019 after making a bright impression at Borussia Dortmund. He would go on to win the Champions League title with the London giants back in the 2020-21 season, impressing under Thomas Tuchel’s management.

However, injuries plagued his career at Stamford Bridge and held him back from being a consistent performer for the Premier League side. Pulisic has made 145 appearances for Chelsea in his career, scoring 26 goals and providing 21 assists across all competitions. The UMSNT winger is rumoured to be earning weekly wages of around £150,000, something which the English club can save on by selling him. With Milan having already signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek from the Blues in this summer window, they seem to be pushing to complete another deal and add more firepower to their attack next season.
