The Dutchman’s Time in Munich

Despite impressing in the Eredivisie, Gravenberch, who is on £155k-a-week, has had a hard time asserting himself in Germany. The former Ajax man is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young midfielders in world football. He has been described as “dominant” and even compared to Paul Pogba due to his physicality, technical ability, and vision. Both players are tall, powerful midfielders who are comfortable on the ball and can make driving runs through midfield.

How Could Liverpool Benefit From a Potential Transfer?

Moreover, with both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain departing this summer, coupled with Fabinho’s poor form, Klopp is looking for at least two new additions in the middle of the park.

The Reds have looked at a number of potential signings to fill the midfield void, ranging from Stanislav Lobotka to Jude Bellingham, with the latter being valued at over £100 million. Gravenberch could however prove to be the cut-price answer to their midfield woes.
