Some injuries aside the first team has been somewhat settled recently. Kepa Arrizabalaga deputies in goal with a back three of Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly shielding him. Ben Chilwell and Reece James occupy the wing-back spots.

Mateo Kovacic and Enzo Fernandez have formed a partnership in the middle of the park while Kai Havertz is leading the line well, usually flanked by Joao Felix and any one of Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, or Noni Madueke.

Since a return to the 3-4-3 formation things have been trending upward for Graham Potter. His side has won three games in a row and appears to finally found their touch in front of the goal after putting three past Leicester City.
