Completed Signings

The Blues have already confirmed the signings of David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, and Benoit Badiashile in this window. While it is currently unknown how much the trio will feature, it isn’t outside the realms of possibility that Fofana and Badishile force their way into Potter’s plans.

This trio alone has cost roughly £55 million as the Brazilian midfielder reportedly cost £18 million, the Ivorian striker set them back £10 million, and the defender reportedly came in at £35 million from Monaco (both per The Sun).

Potential Signings

Enzo Fernandez is a name that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for a huge fee that the aforementioned Sun report puts at the cost of £112 million. With The Times’ Tom Roddy reporting that the two teams are still in negotiations, this deal is alive and well.

Roddy is also reporting interest from the London side in PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke. The 20-year-old Englishman has impressed at the Dutch club since making the move from Tottenham Hotspur. Based on previous interest in the player from a Premier League side, his price tag is likely to be around £40 million.

There are also growing rumours that Chelsea are about to hijack Tottenham’s move for right-back Pedro Porro. Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports reported the potential hijacking while speaking to Last Word on Spurs. The defender has a release clause of £36 million per the Guardian, which will have to be met for any move to happen.

Potential Chelsea Lineup

Should Todd Boehly and co. wheel and deal to make all of these moves happen the first team could receive a major overhaul this month. A reported spend of over £250 million could leave the starting eleven looking something like this:

GK – Kepa Arrizabalaga

CB – Benoit Badiashile

CB – Thiago Silva

CB – Kalidou Koulibaly

LWB – Marc Cucurella

RWB – Pedro Perro

CM – Enzo Fernandez

CM – Mateo Kovacic

LW – Raheem Sterling

ST – Joao Felix

RW – Noni Madueke
