Manchester United target Antony has asked his representatives to start looking for houses in Manchester ahead of a move to Old Trafford, confirms reliable Dutch outlet De Telegraaf. The winger is eager to reunite with Erik ten Hag, who brought him and helped him excel at Ajax.

The fact that the Brazilian winger is starting to look for places to live in Manchester is a big sign that he is confident that a move to the Premier League heavyweights will be done before the end of the summer transfer window. The Red Devils are reportedly confident of getting the move done and want to give Ten Hag his priority target to improve their front line.

De Telegraaf also adds that Antony has let the Dutch club known that he wants a deal to be done in the next 48 hours. He wants them to co-operate with United for a deal as he dreams of playing in the Premier League. United are reportedly going to put in a new bid which should be closer to £80 million after a few earlier offers were rejected.

The 21-year-old winger excelled at Ajax under Ten Hag, scoring 24 goals and providing 22 assists in 82 career appearances for them. He’s been dubbed as a ‘wonderful, technical footballer’ who is capable of exciting fans with his brilliant work on the ball.

The Red Devils have made four summer signings so far for their new manager, roping in the likes of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and the latest being the acquisition of Casemiro from Real Madrid. United have earmarked Antony as a priority signing they want to be signed as soon as possible, but they’re also looking for other players. The Manchester side reportedly want to sign a new goalkeeper who can compete with David de Gea and possibly another forward – like Cody Gakpo from PSV.
