Premier League Star Is Available for a Bargain Price Amidst Chelsea and Roma Interest

Crystal Palace star

On Friday night, the Premier League got back underway as Arsenal visited Selhurst Park. It was a hotly contested game in which the Gunners won, but there was a lot of promise for Patrick Vieira and Crystal Palace. The former Arsenal man may have brought in a lot of younger players, but there are still a few more experienced men in the mix. At the fore of this is of course Wilfried Zaha. As per Fabrizio Romano, the Crystal Palace star has a very reasonable price tag on his head for any potential suitors.

Zaha May Finally Get His Move Away From Selhurst Park

There has long since been talk of Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha departing the club. Every summer, it seems that the Ivorian is angling for a move away from South London. Arsenal are usually the team at the fore of all of the rumours but it is a rival of theirs now. in the words of Romano, “There’s been growing talk of Wilfried Zaha and Chelsea in the last 24 hours or so.”

Going forward, Palace have a plethora of talent in and around Zaha. Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze are recent additions from Reading and Queens’ Park Rangers respectively so the club is in safe hands. These signings have detracted attention from the 29-year-old but he is still one of the most enthralling talents that the Premier League has to offer.

Romano continued, saying that: “I believe Zaha may be available around £25-30 million – a great price for a big talent who is in the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park.”

Much bigger fees have been bounded around in years gone by regarding the Crystal Palace star but given the status of his contract, the Blues or whoever else could get a real bargain over the line.

The Crystal Palace Star and His Season Ahead

As previously mentioned, the Eagles’ season began with a defeat at the hands of Arsenal. Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring with a Marc Guehi own goal rounding it off. But Crystal Palace star Zaha had some bright sparks in the game, despite being unable to properly get into it. Things don’t get any easier with trips to Anfield and the Etihad coming up in their next three fixtures.

“The only club that has made a proposal to Crystal Palace so far is AS Roma but then they invested in Paulo Dybala so the deal went on standby.” A move to the Eternal City for Zaha would be an exciting one all round but still being able to watch him in the Premier League is a true joy.
