The Englishman struggled to hold down a regular first-team place last season, making 19 appearances in all competitions, seemingly suggesting his future lies away from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Defender Looks Destined for Exit Door
AC Milan have identified Tanganga as a player they want to buy this summer, with the Serie A champions viewing the English defender as the perfect replacement for Alessio Romagnoli, who has departed for rivals Lazio on a free transfer.
The London-born defender has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte following the arrival of Djed Spence from Middlesbrough for £20 million, and the loan signing of Clement Lenglet from Barcelona, which has ultimately led him to express his desire for regular first-team football, which looks to end his 13-year association with Spurs.
If a move to Serie A materialises, Tanganga will be keen to emulate Fikayo Tomori, who enjoyed a memorable first season with AC Milan after joining from Chelsea, collecting a league winners medal and playing in 31 of a possible 38 league games, earning acclaim for the important role he played in AC Milan’s memorable title win.
Following the arrival of Spence, it is clear Spurs are looking to balance the books with Tanganga and others destined to be shown the exit door by Conte. Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele also look set to depart the North London club this summer to facilitate the arrivals of players such as Ivan Perisic and Richarlison.
