Erik ten Hag Wants Up to Five Signings for Manchester United

Erik ten Hag Wants More Talent at Manchester United

Improving the Squad

On paper, United holds a plethora of talent. This includes the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Raphael Varane, and others. The big names go on and on. The issue, however, is the performance of these names.

Ronaldo remained a bright spot last season, although he’s looking to be past his prime. Rashford and Sancho didn’t seem to take the next step. Massive names in the defence like Maguire and Varane disappointed. In addition, another major name in Paul Pogba, who never quite lived up to his transfer fee, looks set to return to Juventus.

There are constant rumours surrounding players who are of interest to United and ten Hag.

Two of the biggest names at the moment are Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona and Antony of Ajax.

Ducker has also revealed that the Red Devils are interested in bringing in a centre-back and a right-back. Ten Hag clearly has a certain route he wants to take with United and the club is moving quickly.

It will be another season without Champions League football for the Manchester giants, but they will be hoping that ten Hag can replicate the magic he showed while at Ajax.
