The Inter Milan transfer window, although early in the summer, is remaining very busy. A number of deals have already been made, with both players coming in and departing the club, while a number of moves are still waiting in the wings.
Inter Milan Transfer Window Moving Quickly
Departures
First and foremost, it must be mentioned that a vital player to the club, Ivan Persisic, has departed for Tottenham Hotspur. He performed quite well for the club last season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 35 league matches. Although Inter fell short in Serie A to AC Milan, they did lift the Coppa Italia title. Perisic played a role in this with two goals and an assist in five appearances.
Other veterans such as Andrea Ranocchia, Matias Vecino, and Aleksander Kolarov have seen their contracts expire.
Major news circulating right now surrounds the potential departure of centre-back Milan Skriniar, according to James Horncastle of The Athletic. The asking price for the player is set at €80 million. Although a hefty price, Inter faithful do not want to see the player depart. Skriniar is often Inter’s top defender and also captains the Slovakia National Team. He would be a major loss.
Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni, two vital young players, have also seen their names arise in rumours. Both players, and their agents, have made it clear that they want to remain at the club. This, of course, is major news as they are players Inter cannot afford to lose. Both are at the top of their positions in Italy and are only getting better.
Arrivals
Joaquin Correa is now a permanent Inter player after his loan from Lazio. He scored six goals in Serie A last season and is a solid attacking threat. In addition, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to join from AS Roma. Although older, Mkhitaryan is a seasoned veteran and will help fill the void left by Perisic. Mkhitaryan has played for a plethora of top clubs across Europe.
The major rumor right now is that of Romelu Lukaku.

Inter are also pushing for Paulo Dybala. The Argentine forward, of course, has been a Serie A star for a number of years now. He would instantly provide a stellar boost to the Inter attack. At times, his creativity and skills are second to none. More than that, acquiring Dybala would be a gut punch to Inter rivals Juventus.
Lukaku and Dybala would both be major moves for Inter. The team is also on the hunt for two centre-backs, however. The two are Gleison Bremer, who won the Serie A Defender of the Year award, and Nikola Milenkovic.
There are a lot of moving parts to the Inter transfer window and things are surely moving quickly.
