Big Update on Future of Liverpool Forward Sadio Mane

Mane Seeking a Fresh Challenge

Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 and has been one of the best transfers in recent history. He has been hugely influential in all of Liverpool’s successes under Jurgen Klopp, lifting the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup, a Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.

The era has been a remarkable one for the Reds with Mane and teammate Mohamed Salah central to it.

Salah has committed his immediate future to the club but Mane had promised to reveal his decision after the Champions League final – which they lost 1-0 to Real Madrid.

He has not spoke out yet but Romano reports that he has made his decision.

Bayern Munich are strong contenders to sign the Senegal international, who added the Africa Cup of Nations to his list of successes earlier this year.

Romano adds that Bayern have been respectful of Mane’s wish to wait until after the Champions League final but are now ready to push, anticipating interest from others.

Mane recently revealed he had a contract offer from Manchester United before joining Liverpool.

This season, he has scored 23 goals in 51 games, assisting a further five. He remains a key figure in the Liverpool team, who did though add Luis Diaz in January. Fabio Carvalho is also joining from Fulham, adding to Klopp’s options up top.
