Need for Refreshment in Attacking Department

The negotiations between the winger and Juventus are in advanced stages. The Bianconeri are interested in the player as Paulo Dybala is officially leaving and Federico Bernardeschi is also expected to part ways with the club. Juventus would like to reinforce their attacking department in order to return to the top of Serie A. One round before the end of the season, Juventus scored only 57 goals in 37 games. In comparison, the top-scoring club in Italy, Inter Milan, already have 81 goals.

Juventus are ready to offer a contract until 2023 with a €7 million salary. The money will be saved from the wages of Paulo Dybala, who couldn’t reach a deal for a renewal.

Angél Di Maria wants to play at least one more season in Europe before moving back to Argentina. The winger could form an attacking trio with Federico Chiesa and Dušan Vlahović. The young Italian international missed half of the current campaign due to injury. Dušan Vlahović arrived in Turin in the winter transfer market, so such a trio could be considered a needed restart for Bianconeri’s attack.

Paris Saint-Germain Chapter Over for Angél Di Maria

Paris Saint-Germain decided to not offer a new contract to the winger. The 34-years-old started just 18 games this season in Ligue 1 and three in the Champions League. He couldn’t be a regular starter and failed to deliver the high number of goals and assists compared to the previous seasons.

In case Kylian Mbappe leaves Paris, the club is expected to go for a younger alternative, so the time of Angél Di Maria in Paris is definitely over. The winger will leave France with the impressive five Ligue 1 titles and five Coupe de France, having scored 55 goals for the club.
