Strength in Recruitment

Inter Milan continue to show great strength in their recruitment department and are now looking at Gleison Bremer, a 24-year-old Brazilian defender with almost 100 appearances for fellow Italian side Torino. That ready-make experience of Italian football will no doubt prove invaluable in this potential transfer.

Inter may not be top of Serie A right now but they are one point short of first place with a game in hand on rivals & leaders AC Milan.

A successful season in the league will see them win the title consecutively for the first time since lifting the Scudetto in 2008/09 & 2009/10.

Remarkably, the Nerazzurri lost their manager Antonio Conte and star players Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku in the summer. They have done an excellent job in replacing them and much of the credit is owed to former Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, who took the reins last summer.

Hakan Calhanoglu made the move from Milan and has contributed to 15 goals in 21 league games this season. Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has also played a key role after joining from Roma; both signings with a wealth of Serie A experience, as was January addition Robin Gosens.

Gleison Bremer also offers that with 87 Serie A games to his name, including 10 goals – a healthy output for a defender.

Inter Also Working on Renewals

Fabrizio Romano also reports Inter are close to sealing Marcelo Brozovic’s contract extension with just the final details remaining. They are also confident of extending Ivan Perisic’s stay in Milan.

The Croatian pair have made over 500 appearances for the club combined.
