Moller Impressive Since Joining Arsenal Last Season

Nikolaj Moller arrived at the club on the same day as Thomas Partey. But, the striker’s arrival understandably never garnered the necessary attention. Similar to his arrival, Moller has slowly and silently went about with his business. The 18-year-old has impressed under Steve Bould for the Arsenal U23 side. In fact, Moller finished as the joint-top goalscorer for the Gunners, along with Folarin Balogun, in the reserves league. His impressive displays have reportedly caught the eye of several European clubs.

Tipped as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nikolaj Moller is one of the biggest prospects in the Arsenal academy. According to the report, Arsenal academy chief Per Mertesacker is considering a loan deal abroad for the 18-year-old to help continue his development.

More Outgoings Likely for Arsenal

Arsenal are reportedly set to have a huge squad overhaul this season. Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to add four new signings this season to bolster the Gunners’ squad. The Gunners have already released veteran Brazilian defender David Luiz. Senior players like Granit Xhaka and Saed Kolasinac are also on the brink of exit. While, players like Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendozi, and Dinos Mavropanos have been linked with moves away from the club.

The Gunners are also looking to send some of their best young prospects out on loan during this window. George Lewis and Tim Akinola are two names that are likely to leave the Emirates on loan before the end of this transfer window. Exciting young striker Ben Cottrell is another name that is likely to leave the Gunners on loan to continue his development.
