Buckley Wants to Keep ‘Progressing’ With Blackburn

With a 15-year association with the club already under his belt, Buckley is keen to make his time at Blackburn last as long as possible, with progression at Blackburn the key.

On his new deal, he said: “Yeah I’m buzzing to get it signed and can’t wait to spend many more years here.

“I’ve been here since I was six so it’s getting on a bit now but I love it here, it’s a great club and I just want to keep improving and progressing with the team.

“It’s a big part of my life, I am 21 now and to have been here 15-years – it’s been a large majority of my life.

“I just love it here and to be at the first-team level, it’s a dream come true especially with the squad we’ve got now and playing with all the lads.

“Like I say, I just want to kick on, keep improving the club and improving myself in all ways I can.

“I love this club, want to keep progressing and hopefully get the club back to where it belongs in the Premier League.”
