Everton striker Cenk Tosun has officially completed a loan move back to Besiktas– where he originally transferred from to Goodison Park. It looks a step in the right direction for the out-of-favour forward who previously flourished in Turkey.
In fact, it was his clinical nature in front of goal whilst wearing the colours of Besiktas which secured him a move away in the first place. Now, back wearing the famous black and white, Tosun will be desperate to replicate that form.

Back to the Good Times
Since joining Everton in 2018, three years ago, Tosun has failed to live up to expectations. Now, he has been thrown a lifeline in the form of a move back to Besiktas where he scored 64 goals in 142 appearances.
The move to Everton was meant to be a step up for Tosun, but a dream move to the Premier League soon became a nightmare. With the Euros approaching, too, he desperately needed a move. And, Besiktas is the perfect place for him.
Now back in familiar surroundings, Tosun will look to find his best form once more and propel Besiktas to the title. As things stand, the Turkish club are one point adrift of leaders Fenerbahce with one game in hand, making for an exciting title race.
With the added goals of Tosun- should he rediscover his best form- Besiktas should ease towards yet another title win in Turkey and their first in four years.
If he does, in fact, rediscover his best form, then Tosun is guaranteed a place in the Turkish national team for the Euros. At the end of the season, should he impress enough, Besiktas may even seek a permanent move for the forward.
Tosun is surplus to requirements at Everton- hence the move- but could be a hero at Besiktas.
