Hoffenheim‘s star goalscorer Andrej Kramaric continues to display tremendous form as he aided in his club’s 4-1 victory over Bayern Munich. The Croatian has been very clinical in recent matches for the Bundesliga club and has scored ten goals in his last four league appearances. In all competitions, he has 12 goals in his last five appearances for Hoffenheim.

Effective Against the Best
Kramaric, 29, caused all sorts of trouble for Bayern’s backline on Sunday afternoon. He produced a total of eight shots, four of which were on target. There likely would have been more goals for Kramaric if he was playing against anyone other than Manuel Neuer. This was a massive performance for Kramaric who failed to score against Bayern last season. His two second-half goals were crucial in securing all three points for the home side.
This was the first time since November 2019 that Bayern had conceded three goals or more in a match and Kramaric was one of the few players to have been able to cause such difficulty for Bayern’s backline. He certainly has to be one of the most effective goal scorers in the world at the moment.
Goals Galore
It has been a stellar start to the 2020/21 campaign for the former Leicester City forward. He has scored two or more goals in every fixture Hoffenheim have played so far. Against Chemnitzer in the DFB-Pokal he recorded a brace in normal time and scored the match-winning penalty in the shootout to send the club through to the second round. Kramaric followed up that performance with a hat-trick against Köln to give Hoffenheim all three points in their first match of the Bundesliga season. That amounts to seven goals in three games so far this season.
Hoffenheim have been very successful during this incredible run of form that Kramaric has displayed. In the last five matches, he’s scored in for Hoffenheim, the German club have won every single one. This is a testament to the role he plays for the club. Without Kramaric in the lineup, it’s hard to see them winning as many matches as they have. If he can continue to deliver goals on a regular basis then Hoffenheim should be able to finish in the top half of the table once more.
