According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was subject to Barcelona interest amid his delayed contract renewal. However, the 31-year-old is set to sign a deal that keeps him with the Gunners until 2023, according to David Ornstein of the Athletic.
The Catalan club are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2020/21 campaign and targeted Aubameyang. Barcelona are heading in a new direction under Ronald Koeman’s leadership.
