Manchester United Interest is No Secret

The Red Devils’ interest in the England international is no secret. Negotiations are reportedly still taking place.

However, a deadline for a deal to be complete was set as August 10. As a result, it means that this saga could now become complicated.

Most recently, the club had reportedly agreed a series of payment plans for the 20-year-old. These were set to be staggered over a five-year period, with the total amounting to £100 million.

Will Jadon Sancho Remain With Borussia Dortmund

However, now it appears that the German club are remaining insistent that he will stay with the club.

Zorc, the Sporting Director at Dortmund, spoke to the media ahead of the 2020/21 season at a club training camp.

He said: “We plan with Jadon Sancho. He’ll play for us next season. The decision is final. I think that answers all of the questions.”

Furthermore, Zorc also revealed that the England international has agreed a new three-year deal.

As a result, it appears that Sancho is looking likely to remain with Dortmund. Agreeing a new deal means that the German club can negotiate a higher price, which they are likely to do.

Sancho is one of the rising stars of world football, and has already established himself as one of the best players in Europe. Last season saw him better his 2018/19 tally of 13 goals and 16 assists, as he registered 20 goals and 19 assists from out wide.

Keeping hold of Sancho would certainly be an impressive feat by Dortmund. However, United will continued to battle hard to add the most coveted youngster in football to their ranks.
