Rumours Link Youngster With United and Borussia Dortmund

The teenager is understandably excited by the imminent return of football.

Having broken into the first-team under Pep Clotet, he returned to training with the rest of the Blues squad ahead of this month’s proposed Championship return.

Clotet’s side is set to take on rivals West Bromwich Albion when matches finally return – and Bellingham will be desperate to maintain the form spectators saw when the campaign was paused back in March.

Bellingham’s performances this season have led to the midfielder attracting interest from home and overseas.

But the popular teenager has grounded his focus on the success of Birmingham City.

With a selection of photos upon his return to training, the midfielder tweeted: “Great start to week 2. Only 19 days to go #KRO #JB22”

Bellingham’s exemplary performances have led to scouts from United and Dortmund keeping tabs on him.

The teenager turns 17 later this month but has already amassed 35 senior appearances.

Speaking of the recent interest, boss Clotet said: “Why I’m very happy now is that Jude is here with us and that all the players are here with us as well.

“We focus on that really, but I understand that there will be more speculation when the games come back.”

Football’s Return

Clotet’s side find themselves 16th, eight points above the relegation zone and nine adrift of the play-offs.

When football returns, however, they have a seemingly favourable final few matches.

Blues head to the Hawthorns in the immediate return before hosting Hull City and Huddersfield Town.

This is followed up by Fulham (A), Swansea City (H), Stoke City (A), Charlton Athletic (H) and Preston North End (A).

They conclude the season at home to Derby County.
