REPORT: Paul Pogba Could Return From Injury for Remaining Premier League Games

Paul Pogba

Manchester United have endured multiple injury crises this season, with star players Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford among the many crucial parts of the squad to have been on the sidelines for a number of weeks. However, while the suspension of football did not come at the best time for an in-form United side, it will definitely benefit them in terms of injuries as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer issues an exciting update to fans on the possibility of multiple recoveries for when the Premier League resumes.

Paul Pogba Could Return for Manchester United

The Update

When asked by Sky Sports whether Pogba would be fit to play come the return of football, Solskjaer said: “I definitely think so. Paul’s had a difficult season with injuries, he’s said that himself. Of course, Marcus [Rashford] as well is getting back, so for them two this gives them a chance to start on a par or even ahead of other players, if and when we get going.

“But they’ve been focused. Mentally it’s maybe easier for them to train harder now because they can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Playing With New Signing Bruno Fernandes

With confirmation that Pogba will be back in action when football restarts, Manchester United fans can now get excited about the prospect of the Frenchman lining up alongside new signing Bruno Fernandes.

A much-needed breath of fresh air, Fernandes joined in January to provide the Red Devils with the creativity they were desperate for. He provided the goods at the Theatre of Dreams, with a positive influence on the whole squad, and United have not lost a match since his debut.

After Fernandes proved his quality, United fans were quick to imagine how he would play in midfield with fellow world-class talent Pogba. Now, it seems as if their wishes have been answered, and when football resumes, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes will play alongside each other, no doubt forming a fantastic partnership.
