The Deal

Doncaster announced via their website they had signed the midfielder. Ramsey arrives on loan from Aston Villa for the remainder of the season.

He arrives as Doncaster’s excellent transfer window continues. Ramsey joins Fejiri Okenabirhie and Devante Cole in joining the club while key loanees Ben Sheaf and Seny Dieng extended their stays with the club until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old is highly thought off at Aston Villa and his parent club want him to get some first-team experience under his belt. The youngster is ready to test himself in League One and join Darren Moore’s exciting Doncaster revolution.

The teenager has made his Villa breakthrough, making two appearances for them, including one against Doncaster manager Darren Moore when he managed West Bromwich Albion.

Ramsey is a player with bags of potential and certainly fits Moore’s attacking style of play at Doncaster.

Ramsey is a talented attacking midfielder who has been a regular for Villa’s U23s, but this will be his first real taste of the Football League. He brings an eye for a pass, an ability to dribble past players and quality in the final third. Darren Moore will be delighted to have him on board as Doncaster push for a play-off spot.

He is in the Doncaster squad for this weekend’s game against Fleetwood Town; a good opportunity for Darren Moore’s side to secure back to back league wins.
