Transfer Rumours

Last Word on Sport’s Football Transfer News brings you the latest transfer rumours from world football. With the European transfer window still open, Juventus are still trying to offload Paulo Dybala. Bayern Munich have turned their attentions to Philippe Coutinho. Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, remain locked in talks over Neymar. The French champions could also lose a star striker at the end of the season.

The Latest Transfer Rumours

Bayern Chasing Coutinho

According to Roger Torelló of Mundo Deportivo, the future of Philippe Coutinho could yet see another twist. Bayern Munich have entered to fray in pursuit of his signature. With the option of a Premier League return now dead, clubs in Europe may look to take advantage. Barcelona may be less inclined to sell to the German champions, as they could still use Coutinho in a deal for compatriot Neymar. Nevertheless, Bayern have enquired about the Brazilian attacker, and have until the 25th to make a decision.

Coutinho’s future remains in the balance, clearly not wanted at Barcelona. Now, after the arrival of Antoine Griezmann this summer, he is even further down the pecking order. It remains to be seen whether Bayern offer him an escape from his Barcelona nightmare.

No Room For Dybala As Juventus Desperate To Offload

Liam Prendeville of The Mirror writes that Paulo Dybala may yet leave Juventus, or risk being left out of their Champion’s League squad. Maurizio Sarri has done little to reaffirm that Dybala will be in his plans, claiming the need to trim his squad ahead of their European campaign. As such, Dybala could still be surplus to requirements.

As it stands, Paris Saint-Germain would be his most likely destination. After the closure of the Premier League transfer window, summer moves to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are off the table. Should Neymar leave the French side, this will become all the more likely.

Neymar Talks Ongoings, Cavani Could Be USA-Bound

According to Mundo Deportivo sources, talks remain ongoing between Real Madrid and PSG over the transfer of Neymar. However, the clubs are still far off agreeing a move. Real reportedly offered €120 million as well as James Rodriguez. But, the French side would prefer Isco as part of the deal, who also finds himself on the fringes. With Real reluctant to sell Isco, discussions have begun over including either of Thibaut Courtois or Keylor Navas in the deal. Neymar remains intent on leaving, with Barcelona his preferred destination, but not ruling out Real Madrid.

In other news, a star player could be leaving France next summer. Ana Paulino Maupomé of AS reports that Edinson Cavani could be one of Inter Miami’s first signings ahead of their inaugural MLS season in 2020. Cavani’s contract expires next summer, and he will be free to discuss a new deal with whomever he chooses. He would be a star signing for David Beckham’s franchise, joining the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nani and Carlos Vela in making the move to the USA.
