Transfer Rumours – Arsenal

Arsenal’s quest for a new centre-back has taken them to Italy, as according to Dave Fraser of The Sun, they are exploring the possibility of signing JuventusDaniele Rugani.

Last season Rugani made just 15 appearances as Juventus romped to another Serie A title. He struggled to break the partnership of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is looking to the centre of his defence. According to reports, Shkrodan Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny could both be on their way out of The Emirates.

One Defensive Midfielder Out And Another In At Everton?

Everton are acting quickly in their bid to replace Idrissa Gueye, as Phil Kirkbride of the Liverpool Echo claims they are looking to sign Jean-Phillipe Gbamin from Mainz.

The Ivorian international joined German side Mainz in the summer of 2016. Last season he made 31 appearances, scoring two goals.

Gbamin would be the third central midfielder to arrive at Goodison Park this summer. The 23-year-old would join Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph at Everton.

Crystal Palace Targeting Former Cardiff Loanee?

Simon Jones of the Daily Mail writes that Crystal Palace are interested in Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa, who spent last season on loan at Cardiff City.

Last season Camarasa was one of the few bright sparks as Cardiff were relegated back to the Championship. He scored five times, including from a long-range effort against Leicester City.

It could be a busy last week of the window for Roy Hodgson, as he looks to add a winger, right-back and another striker to his ranks.

Aston Villa Maintaining Interest In Neal Maupay

According to Joseph Chapman of the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa are continuing to pursue a deal for Brentford striker Neal Maupay.

Maupay was one of the standout performers last season for Brentford, as he registered 25 goals in 43 appearances. If he signs, he will be the 13th player to arrive at Villa Park this summer.
